Location – your guestroom in Ohmden, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland.

Ohmden is a small rural village located between Stuttgart and Ulm on the edge of the Swabian Alb. Our house is off the thoroughfare in a quiet and safe residential area. The guest room is located in the basement, at ground level to the garden, with a south-facing window on the lower meadows.

Very conveniently located, about 5 minutes drive from the motorway (A8, junction Aichelberg). Within 20 minutes, the airport and the exhibition center in Stuttgart can be reached by car. Seminar visitors can reach the "Hotel Seminaris" in Bad Boll within 5 minutes, where numerous conferences and seminars take place.
Once a hour a bus goes to Kirchheim / Teck. From here you have access to the Metro line "S1" to Stuttgart.

The beautiful landscape always offers an incentive for walks, hikes and bike rides. Numerous sights and attractions can be found in the immediate vicinity. Thus, our accommodation is suitable for transients, tourists, seminar visitors or business people alike.

In the village itself there are several restaurants and a bakery - so is also taken care of the physical well-being.

​

Apart from the restaurants, the nightlife in Ohmden has nothing to offer. Likewise, "fast internet" has not yet arrived in our district in Ohmden.

guestroom - description

Our house is built in 1964 and renovated in 2015 (heating, water pipes, electricity, windows, u.v.m.). In some places in the house, the renovation is still ongoing - but this does not affect the guest area.

 

Please note: the guest room is located in the basement (stepping stairs necessary) of our house and is part of our own premises (see also the floor plan in the following photo gallery). Right next to the guest room is the bedroom of our older son (15y.). Directly in front of the guest room in the hallway is the guest area with the sanitary area (can be separated with curtain) and the toilet (separate, lockable room). Our shower in the ground floor can be shared (availability has to be arranged).

Our guest room is best suited for 1 or 2 guests depending on the size and the existing facilities.
For a maximum of 4 guests in transit, who only need a good place to sleep for a night, we offer the possibility to put one or two mattresses into the room.

Equipped is our guest room with a double bed (1,60m x 2m) including side tables and reading lamps, a table (80x80cm) with 2 chairs, a chest of drawers and a clothes rack. Directly in front of the room in the hallway is, separable by a curtain, the washbasin belonging to the guest room with sink and a separate toilet.
The shower in the bathroom (ground floor) can also be used by arrangement.
